Measure all of the ingredients into a mixing bowl and whisk to combine. Store seasoning in an airtight container.Alternatively, measure all of the ingredients into the airtight container you will be storing your taco seasoning in, and shake until well combined.
To Use
Brown your ground beef over medium-high. Once your meat is browned, drain. With the heat still at medium-high, sprinkle the desired amount of seasoning over your meat (probably about 3 TBSP per pound of beef). Cook and stir for about a minute.
Add in some water—around 3/4 cup for a pound of ground beef. Once the water boils, turn heat down to medium. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently.
Notes
*The original recipe calls for 6 tablespoons of salt and 3 tablespoons of pepper, but I never use that much of either, so I cut back on both for this recipe. Feel free to use more or less.
